1st Class Electrical are pleased to offer the Visonic Powermax Wireless Burglar Alarm System which conforms to BS6799 class 5 standards. Due to no cabling there is minimum disruption to the property when the alarm is installed. Longer battery life and technological advances have made wireless alarm systems a practical solution and they are no longer perceived as being unreliable.
1st Class Electrical are pleased to offer an average installation for a 3 bedroom property for under £500. A unique feature to the Powermax system is the onboard speech dialler which can be used to contact the owner, and up to 3 other contacts, in the event of activation. Also the contacted person can then listen into the property to check if a burglary is in progress. Furthermore the 2 way voice communication feature allows direct communication with the control panel and, through a microphone in the main unit, the user can provide instructions over the phone to the house.
On the Visonic system the communication between the sensors and the panel uses a "code secure" technology to avoid scanners picking up the signals. Furthermore the system can be fully monitored by any of the usual companies (eg RedCare).
The alarm system is easy to operate and the control panel offers voice prompts and commands. The alarm can be set either from the main control panel or from remote key fobs.
The control panel supports up to 30 zones and additional detectors can be added to the system after initial installation. Detectors supported include PIR and pet-immune motion detectors, door or window magnetic contacts, smoke and gas detectors and glass break points.
A special function of the Powermax system is its ability to have panic buttons linked to the system. Thus when the panic button is activated the transmitter will cause the Powermax control panel to send an “emergency call” to the central monitoring station or to the designated private telephone numbers to alert users that the person at the property is in difficulty. This is especially useful for vulnerable people living alone in a property.
